Hello Soloman_Caine,

Thank you for posting.  It seems that you may have a corrupt driver issue.  One way to correct this is to uninstall and completely remove the driver and printer device and then reinstall them.  This should aleve the issue, if not then you may have a malware problem.

Please try this out and let me know if this helps you.

Hello Solomon_caine,

Thanks for using the Microsoft Answers Forum.

You might try running an SFC scan to help detect and repair any problem you may be experiencing. To run SFC click Start and type “cmd” in Start Search. Choose “cmd” from list then right click and choose “Run as Administrator”. In the command prompt, type “SFC /scannow” and let the scan run its course. This scan hopefully will repair any problems you are having.

Try the suggestion above and the repost here to let us know the results. Take note of anything that the scan says it could not repair if any.

I ran the sfc/scannow command. it ran its course, took quiet awhile. it gave no additonal information or notes that anything had been repaired by the scan. so i tried to print a simple text document and the spooler repeated the same problem. thank you for your help and advice. i sincerely apologize for the multiple post. i will check back to see if you have further advice. thank you.
