roxio creator doesn't recognize cd or dvddrive

I am having the problem with roxio creator 9.0

My files aren't burned into cd despite the message that it was done successfully. It looks like the cd/dvd driver is not recognized.

Hi,

·         Does the Windows Recognize the CD?

·         Are you able to burn the CD/DVD through Windows Explorer?

Uninstall and reinstall Roxio Creator.

a.     Uninstall Roxio Creator.

b.    Run the Fix it from Your CD drive or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs

c.    Then reinstall Roxio and check if that helps
