I have a HP Pavilion dm1 notebook PC included Windows 7 Home Basic.
I want to re-size partition but cannot. When I try to format Unallocated partition I got the message below.
"The operation you selected will convert the selected basic disk(s) to dinamic disk(s). If you convert the disk(s) to dinamic, you will not be able to start installed operating systems from any volume on the disk(s)(except the current boot volume). Are you sore you want to continue"
Nothing coming when I type Yes or No button. Please help me

Viet Nguyen,
This is only relevant if you have multiple operating systems installed on that hard drive. If you only have one operating system installed, it is safe to proceed to the next step.
Hope that helps!

Thanks you,
I checked your link and I had problem with option 1. At Step 10 after I click Finish button the message box came :
"The operation you selected will convert the selected basic disk(s) to dinamic disk(s). If you convert the disk(s) to dinamic, you will not be able to start installed operating systems from any volume on the disk(s)(except the current boot volume). Are you sore you want to continue".
