error code 1813

hi

on samsung N150 want to plug my printer HP Laserjet M1319f MFP. when i go to add a printer option the message" windows can't open add printer.the lpcal print spooler service is not running. restart the spooler or restrat the machine" comes. on going to the service section for spooler the error message 1053 is shown.

even when directly connection the printer with the laptop thru USB cable it loads all drivers except for printing. now i cannot print any thing. has any one got a solution.

Answer 1

You probably need to restart the print spooler:

1. Right Click on blank area of Taskbar & select Start Manager.
2. Select Services tab at the top.
3. Click on Services button at the bottom.
4. Scroll down the list of services until you reach Print Spooler.
5. Right Click on it and select properties.
6. Click on Start button.
7. Check that Startup type is set to Automatic.
8. Exit Services window and close Task Manager.
9. Try printer & hope for the best  8-)

Do not fiddle with other things in Service unless you know what you are doing as it can cause systm problems.
