You probably need to restart the print spooler:
- Right Click on blank area of Taskbar & select Start Manager.
- Select Services tab at the top.
- Click on Services button at the bottom.
- Scroll down the list of services until you reach Print Spooler.
- Right Click on it and select properties.
- Click on Start button.
- Check that Startup type is set to Automatic.
- Exit Services window and close Task Manager.
- Try printer & hope for the best 8-)
Do not fiddle with other things in Service unless you know what you are doing as it can cause systm problems.
