PNG support for wallpapers was added in Windows 8. Please consider adding support to BgInfo for all supported wallpaper formats.

2021-04-25T22:31:22.813+00:00 Yes! This is definitely needed. Not ideal using BGInfo with BMP files when managing 4K resolution wallpapers, and lossy JPG shows artefacts.
Had requested this a while ago now on the older TechNet forums, and was being considering for backlog review, but then never heard anything further.
