Error Code: 80070103 (Can't install NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430)

Today I just noticed that a certain update (apparently a driver update from nVidia) that has repeatedly failed to install. I tried manually again to install it today, and it just failed again and gave me the error code: 80070103. I'm not quite sure what to do about it (I know about computers to a certain degree though). The first time it failed in update history was 7/2/2010.

If anybody could help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated!

RE-EDIT: I forgot to "show processes from all users", even though I'm the only user on this computer. Two programs- System Idle Process, and System, are taking up ~48 CPU each. I'm still at 50+% CPU usage.  Can you explain what these do? Disregard that last edit.

I have had the same problem for some time now on my Windows 7 64 bit system.  I finally went to NVIDIA and downloaded the driver installation package and it installed correctly. Go here: http://www.geforce.com/Drivers.

Thanks for the information, it makes me think that I may need to cancel this update, as I manually installed the latest driver update a few months ago.

    Thank you.
