I installed reader rabbit trial version to make sure it would run on Windows 7 x64. I have tried all compatibility modes and run as administrator. Will I have this problem if I bought a program on disk, is there a fix? i receive no error message. I managed to load and run the preschool sparkle reader program, but the second one failed.

If the trial version will not work in Compatibility Mode (and you don't want to run as administrator in any daily user account), then the program will not work in Windows 7 64-bit. The point of a demo/trial is to make sure the program works in your system before you buy it. This one doesn't work in your system so you should save your money. Contact the program's tech support or find another program.
