"Not enough storage space to process this command"

Question

I am trying to install the WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86 on my new PC with 1 gigs of ram, AMD Athlon(tm)II P320 Dual-Core processor and about 320 available gigs of hard drive space. Im running the file as the system administrator and i get the error not enough storage space to process this command, someone please help me out?

·         Why are you trying to install windows installer 3.1?

·         What windows operating system is installed on your computer?

Windows installer 3.5 is preinstalled in Windows vista and windows installer 4.5 is preinstalled on windows 7. Please let us know what you are trying to accomplish.

Im having the same problem, I run an rcon program from my home pc to moderate a game server and it requires the 3.1 installer.

I worked before perfectly ok but sine re-installing windows 7 i get the same message as OP
