Error code - C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe__HELPP

When ever i open anything, it asks what program i want to open with.Error code C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe. What the heck do i do? i wont let me download any programs at all or open anything. Like if i click internet explorer a little screen comes up saying what program would you like to open with with? Why cant it just open programs anymore..

Click Start, Run. Type command and press Enter. Type notepad and press Enter.

Notepad opens. Copy all the text below

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell\open\command]

@=""%1" %*"

Save this as fix.reg to your Desktop (remember to select Save as file type: All files in Notepad.)

Double Click fix.reg and click YES for confirm.

Reboot your computer.

    sorry at the end of the error code it says application not found. This was from when i clicked on System..
