Hi danbud,

Since when are you facing this issue?

The error message is pointing to printer drivers, possible printer driver corruption.

I would suggest you to try the following steps:

**Step 1:**Uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers.

You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps.

1.            Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

2.   In Device Manager, locate the printer ports set and then double-click the device name.

3.   Click the Driver tab, and then click uninstall Driver and follow the instructions.

Check the link to manually re-install the drivers

Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly

Alternatively, download and install the latest printer drivers from the printer manufacturer’s website.

    Hi danbud,

The best bet would be to install the driver in windows XP SP2 (service pack) compatibility mode, to do this, follow the steps mentioned below:

    1.    Place the driver installation file on the Desktop.

    2. Right Click the driver installation file and select Properties/Compatibility Tab

    3. Select “run this program in compatibility mode for windows XP SP2”

    4.    Click Apply/OK.

    5.    Right Click the file and select the Run as Administrator option to install.

    Hi Ajay!

What you say makes sense, I recently tried to upload a driver for my lexmarx 730 and it wasn't compatible with VISTA.

So I removed the program, hoping it will solve this problem, if not, I will be back on this forum.

    Thanks a whole bunch
