windows dvd maker error synchronizing project...

I have been trying to burn dvds on my windows movie maker and the error synchronizing project message keeps popping up.

the movies play on windows media player and they just wont burn ive done all i can but it just wont work

ive burned cds and they work fine.

the one dvd that i did get to burn did not work in my dvd player... someone pleas could help me out it would be much appreicated.

    i installed a third party burning software on the computer after i could not get the windows dvd maker to work.

    As of file it would be avi .flv *,mpg *.xvid *.divx *.mp4 *.3gp *.mkv *.rm *.rmvb *.mov *.wmv *.ogm *.ts  i tried doing what you posted and nothing changed with my computer

    Hi Mellymoo,

    1. What type of file are you burning?
    2. Is there any other 3rd party burning software installed on the computer?

    If "Yes", uninstall and then use Windows DVD maker and check if that makes any difference.
