USB Problem on virtual XP

When click on usb tab at the top of the screen of virtual xp it says "The virtualization driver needed for USB functionality is not working.

Can you please give me a solution. I want to use usb devices like pendrive at virtual xp.

Hi Md. Nadim,

I would suggest you to visit manufacturer’s website and install the latest device drivers compatible for Windows 7.

You may  refer the below mentioned link.

You may also update the chipset drivers on the host machine.

    Follow these steps to install USB Virtualization Driver on your computer.

    1. Go to Device manager(Start -> Control Panel -> Device Manager)
    2. Select the top most node on the list
    3. Goto Action -> Add Legacy hardware
    4. Click Next on Hardware Wizard screen
    5. Select "Install the hardware that i manually select from the list (Advanced)" and click Next.
    6. From Common hardware types list, select "USB Virtualization" and click Next.
    7. From Model list, select "USB Virtualization Connector Driver" and click Next.
    8. Click Next to install the driver.
