Memory or disk space insuffient error when trying to open a .csv file from the web with Excel 2007 in Windows 7, using IE8.

Specific Error message:  "Microsoft Office Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space."

I have just upgraded from Vista (64 bit) to Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) - never saw this error in Vista. I have Office 2007, and am using the 64-bit version of IE8.

I have a very modern system with 6 GB of memory total (about 4.8 GB free) and my hard drive has over 430 GB free. There are no other spreadsheets open, or any other active applications running except maybe Thunderbird email.

What causes the error is when I  log in to a web account (using IE8), and try to open a very large .csv file on my desktop (without saving to disk first). Before I upgraded from Vista, Excel would pop up with the file loaded, no problem.

On my new Win 7 build, I get the error above about insufficient available memory or diskspace.
