How to remove extra characters at multi-line type cloumn.

Question

My highlight column is type in by powerapps rich text. It is displayed normally in the sharepoint list view. Why are there many useless characters when editing in sharepoint? For example, ""<> / ". How can I remove these extra characters?

I test in my SharePoint Online. But I cannot reproduce the issue.

To troubleshot the issue, you could go to List settings -> Click Highlights column -> Set "Specify the type of text to allow" as "Plain text". Then have a test.
