CONNECTION WITH SERVER WAS RESET

I AM TRYING TO DOWNLOAD A FILE FROM THE INTERNET AND I RECIEVE AN ERROR SAYING INTERNET EXPLORER CAN NOT DOWNLOAD THIS FILE.    THE CONNECTION WITH THE SERVER WAS RESET

    Hi Bobelia,

    Might be some antivirus or firewall is blocking the download.

    a)      You may temporarily disable the security software installed on the computer and check if you are able to download.

    Note: Make sure to enable the security software’s after completing the troubleshooting and identifying the issue so that the computer is protected.

    b)      If you are using a router, try connecting the computer directly to the modem and check if you are able to download the file.

    This is to check if you need to change the firewall setting in router.

    Do you have Avast Antivirus? I got that message for a file when I tried to download it and I found it in Avast's virus chest afterwards(I didn't get a security warning from Avast). If you have avast, check there.
