Disabling crash dialogs

When a process crashes, a dialog appears saying "XXXX has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution..." If I disable Windows Event Reporting, the dialog changes to "A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly". What can I do so no dialog appears at all?

Hi

This doesn't quite help because, as I said, this replaces "Windows is searching for a solution..." by the "Close the program" dialog.

I've obtained the answer here

    Hi LevB

Thank you for Posting on Microsoft Answers.

If you want to turn it off completely, follow these steps.

    Click on Start

In the Start Search Box type in Problem - give it a second to bring up Problem Reports and Solutions at the top of the Programs list.  Once it appears, click on it

On the left hand side, click on Change SettingsClick on Advanced SettingsAt the top, click on the OFF circle checkbox

    click ok

    click ok

That should turn off the Problem Reporting.

Please Post back and let us know if this has helped to resolve the issue - thank you
