Original title: Vista SP2 windows is not starting up correctly. Very, very slow and don't have access to open anything.<br><br><br>I was able to start up in safe mode and view the Event Viewer  and this is what it says:<br><br><br>//./root/CIMV2
SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99

  1. Did you make any changes prior to the issue?

This problem occurs if the WMI filter is accessed without sufficient permission. To fix this issue, we recommend you to run the script from**this article** and check the result.

    Hi Syed,

    Thanks for the reply, by the way... To be totally honest with you I am a complete novice when it comes to computer problems... But, I did get my computer working properly thanks to my cousin... As for your question on did I make any changes prior to the issue... Yes, in a way... I was actually updating the ROM on my windows 6.5 phone (HTC HD2) when the problem happened... But, all is fine now...
