If you are looking on how to plan for using Azure Purview in your environment then you can refer to this documentation.
If you want to setup a sample data estate environment to understand how Azure Purview works with different sources, then you can download the starter kit and follow Scan data with Azure Purview documentation for better understanding if this helps.
