I had the same issue with XP Home. I tried the Q319825 hotfix that was supposed to fix this but it didn't work with the Service Packs already installed on the PC. I gathered that the error message related to receiving faxes ('FaxRx'). I didn't need the ability to send or receive faxes from this PC anyway; so, I took the second option in the MFC-9320CW Initial Installation -- MFL-Pro Suite without PaperPort -- and deselected the options to transmit and receive faxes. After a few other unrelated hurdles, I got the driver to install and print properly.

    Hi Ultralove,

    A.      Are you the administrator of this computer?

    B.      Did you upgrade from windows XP to windows vista?

    C.      Which edition of vista is installed on your computer?

    D.      Have you installed this application earlier on this computer?

    E.       Who is your computer manufactuer?

Check if you have the folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents on your computer. This might be hidden, try to unhide and check.

    Hi Ultralove,

Try to delete the documents and settings folder and then install the software and check if it works.

NOTE: Backup the data from the folder before you delete it.

    Post back the result.

    Hello,

    To answer your questions

    A - Yes

    B - No

    C - Vista 32 bit Home Premium

D - No, did it the first and every time I have tried installing it

E - It is a Sony Vaio Computer

There is the Document folder in the specific location you mentioned. However, it shows up as a short cut icon that say when clicked on that it refers to a location that is unavailable.
