Default Login for Multi-user setup?

I have vista setup with 3 accounts.  One for myself, one for my brother and one for my sister.

I am the primary user and my brother and sister only login if they are over the house.

When Vista starts is show login accounts for all three users.

What I want is for my account to be the default, and require the others to choose "switch user" if they come over the house.

I cannot find away of making one of the accounts the default

How can I do this?

Thanks

Hello EMaini

Thanks for posting your question.

  1. Click on start, type control userpasswords2 in the start search box and press enter. Click Continue if you are the administrator or type the administrator password. Then, click Continue.
  2. You will get a User account window wherein all the users on the computer would be listed.
  3. In the Users tab, click the username to which you want to login by default and then uncheck the box “users must enter a name and password to use this computer.”
  4. Once you do this, you will be prompted to enter your password. Enter the password and then confirm the password in the next box.
  5. Click on OK.
  6. Click on OK again and restart the computer.
  7. Next time you restart the computer, it should directly enter your user account.

Thanks and Regards,

Gulrez
