Hi. My XP desktop gives me the option of turning off computer straight from sleep without having to log back in first. I would like my laptop to do the same. How do I change this setting?

Hello manangatang,

If your laptop is vista you need to switch user first before you can press the shut down key,

Turn off Computer option lower right > press the little arrow pointing up for more shut down options

Glad I could help,

Thanks
