Hi everybody,

i am using a stock trading platform, when i launch this is the error msg "Unable to start the application--java virtual machine cannot load class not registered" i receive instead of launching the platform. As per the instructions of the application, i was given MSVM to  be installed and disable SunJVM. Once i install the MSVM, it says succeessfull, but the MSVM NO where avail. When I run the diagnostic tool for VM, the report says, there is NO MSVM is found in this computer. I am using XP professional SP3.  How am i to install the MS VM?? Where can I check the VM installed or not. Please help... Thanks.

You need to go back to the supplier of your trading application and ask

    for assistance.

As the result of a settlement of litigation with Sun, Microsoft has been

prohibited from distributing its version of Java (i.e., the MS Java Virtual

Machine) since shortly after Windows XP service pack 1 was released

(that's the reason that there was a service pack 1a, which was identical

to sp1 but for the absence of the MSJVM). For more than you really want

to know on this topic, see:
