From Google ->

Installation issues: Google Update Error 0x8004071c Print Issue

Your computer is currently in Windows Audit Mode and is conflicting with the installation of Google Chrome.

Solution

Take your computer out of Audit Mode. Follow the steps listed below.

These steps involve making changes to the Windows registry on your computer. Editing the Windows registry is an advanced process, so you might want to contact your system administrator for help.

  1. Go to the Start menu > Run.
  2. Enter the following in the text box: regedit
  3. <added by GBorn> press Strg+Shift+Enter and confirm UAC prompt
  4. Find and right-click the relevant registry key for your operating system:
    • Windows 7: ImageState in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\State
  5. Select Modify.
  6. Delete the value.
  7. Click OK.

That is the best, I can provide. I have never used/installed Chrome browser nor I intend to do. Als an alternative, I use chrome clone Iron (see http://www.srware.net/software_srware_iron_download.php) in a portable version.

Thanks Gborn for your answer, however when i look in my register i see the next 2 lines:

    1

    name: AB

    Type : REG_SZ

    Right click gives no value

    2

    name: AB

    Type: REG_SZ  IMAGE_STATE_UNDEPLOYABLE

    value: IMAGE_STATE_UNDEPLOYABLE

Only with the right click "modify binarie values" has a lot of numbers
