I've been having two errors show up in the event log. The first makes reference to one or more user drivers and hosting process has been terminated and the other makes reference to the sleep transition being unsuccessful. Is it possible to get assistance in this regard.

One of these error messages is responsible for my laptop shutting down unexpectedly. I can't pin point exactly which one it is.

Can you plesse post copies of the exact text of both of those error messages.  If there is information on more than one screen, copy the contents back to back so we'll know what information applies to which error.  Also are these listed as Critical, Important or what and in which Event log are they located?

Are you having any problems at all with your system that you can notice?  Is there anything you can't do?  Are you getting any on-screen error messages (and if so what do they say EXACTLY)? Have you tried to use the sleep or hibernation mode and had any problems?  Does any device on your system not function properly or at all?

Thanks.  Since I can't sit in front of your somputer and work on it myself, I heed your help to help me.  That's why I've asked all these questions - I'm trying to learn what the problems are and maybe even the cause before I can even begin to come up with any recommendations.

    Good luck!

What system are you using? Could you provide your model name, too? I have Windows 10 64x, Asus q552ub. What would Debian or Ubuntu say and do about these? My team has found this on other brands' models, and multiple Windows platforms. If it is all from XP2+, it has some relationship with EFS (NTFS; HFS+; if ExFAT) and U-EFI (BIOS). We are wondrous if this is the system kernel and/or hardware chipped. We have also found this is very relevant and common, but all hidden, on Mac OSX and all mobile devices when the kernel changes or the hardware gets chipped. What is your opinion upon the factors? Have you made any progress with this?

    I have the same errors - 10110 and 10111.

Event viewer shows this text for 10110:  A problem has occurred with one or more user-mode drivers and the hosting process has been terminated. This may temporarily interrupt your ability to access the devices.

for 10111: The device Apple iPhone (location Port_#0001.Hub_#0007) is offline due to a user-mode driver crash. Windows will attempt to restart the device 5 more times. Please contact the device manufacturer for more information about this problem.

and for 41: The last sleep transition was unsuccessful. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, failed, or lost power during the sleep transition.

My laptop screen went completely dark and would not respond to any keys... I had to remove the the battery, get it back in and then restart several times before I was able to get back on.

Hope this helps you help us???

    Hi Wingman26,

In addition to the questions Lorien asked:

**Is there anything you can't do?  Are you getting any on-screen error messages (and if so what do they say EXACTLY)? Have you tried to use the sleep or hibernation mode and had any problems?  Does any device on your system not function properly or at all?**please answer the following questions:

Does this issue exist inSafe Mode? When did this issue start? If recently, complete a System Restore. What changes were made to the computer, such as added new hardware and/or software? Describe what you see on the screen when the computer shuts down. Make sure your drivers are up to date by checking the manufacturers’ website.
