Hello,

According to the documentation, in a CAL device model, a device will get a temporary CAL the first time it connects. The second time it connects, it will get a valid license.

The thing is that devices that I use to connect to a terminal server are not getting a temp license. Actually, a very few of them will get one. I have tried with a virtual machine, an iPad, a smartphone, a Desktop. The licence server is issuing licenses, but it seems it does not work always.

So, it is a known issue ? Is the temp license supposed to be issued as soon as the device is connected ?

Thanks,

Zm.

    Hi,
1.Which type of CAL you've installed and how did you setup the licensing mode in the RDSH?

2.Kindly check the License report and confirm if the device was the first time to connect the RDSH(terminal server). Any screenshots will be appreciated.

Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.

    Thanks,
    Jenny
