My Xbox 360 wont re-connect to my wirless network after it was disconnected by accident and i have tried all trouble shooting options available on xbox.com, as well as the xbox 360 dashboard, without any luck. My internet IS working just fine and my Xbox CAN see my wireless network when i scan for it. I have entered the WEP key correctly multiple times and i have reset my router and xbox multiple times still with no luck. When i try to connect to Xbox Live the process stops at the first step (connecting to the wireless network). The exact Error Status Report i get is as follows:

W: 0000 - 0000

X: 8000 - 0011

Y: 0000 - 0000

Z: 0000 - 0000

ID: FFFF - FFFF

I found that it was a simple human error by myself. The WPA Key that Geek Squad had given me after setting up my router had a lower case "L" and I thought it was a "1".

Mutant James, I have this same exact problem. I'm not very savy with technology, and i've tried calling my internet provider and Microsoft multiple times also. Have you had any luck with your issues? If so, can you let me know?

Hi,

Try the below steps:

1. Try turning off the Xbox 360 and unplugging the power cord from the router for 30 seconds to a minute to send it through a power cycle.

2. Then plug in all connections to the router and plug it back in. Allow the router to fully “startup” so that the lights that are displayed remain constant and Internet access has returned.

3. Turn the Xbox on and try to access the wireless network.
