AsIO.sys Error in Windows 7

I had to reisntall Windows 7 because of a recurring problem with the gadgets and now i am getting the AsIO.sys error that can't open the dynamic link library. I checked in the windows folder for the dll and does exist don't know why it does not open can you help?
