logitech webcam crashes computer when used

every time i try to view video or use the camera the computer crashes. i have removed the camera driver and tried a reg cleaner and "fix it" from microsoft but nothe \has fixed the problem so far.   alll of the abovehelped some for a brief period of timebut the problems alwau quickly
