Win10 Can't Install Because HD System Reserve Partition Not Updated

Doing an upgrade from Win7 to Win10, the process ended with a message "This PC Can't Run Windows 10 - We couldn't update the system reserve partition." The "learn more" URL simply took me to the hardware requirements for Win10 installation, which my PC fits.

The HD is a 500GB MBR NTFS drive with a 100MB system reserve partition which my partition tool says is 99% full.

So, do I need to enlarge the system partition (lots of room on the drive to do that), convert to a GPT drive, or something else? I don't want to start blindly changing things, since I don't know WHY the installation process couldn't update that partition. Advice is needed and appreciated - thanks in advance for that.

And, when I do make the needed changes to the HD, how do I restart the Win10 installation process?

    Hi,
The System Reserved Partition (SRP) may be full. The System Reserve Partition (SRP) is a small partition on your hard drive that stores boot information for Windows. Some third-party anti-virus and security apps write to the SRP, and can fill it up.
You could refer to the following steps mentioned in the link:

Hope above information can help you.
