Understand the RU calculation in Cosmos DB

How we can minimize costing of Azure Cosmos DB? As there is only one or two transactions occurs in a day.
What is an alternative method of Serverless Cosmos. Since, it is in Preview we can't use/apply it in production enviornment.

    @Sarvesh Pandey The minimum throughput required to provision a container/shared throughput database is 400RU's
    If the utilization is only few transactions in a day, serverless is a great option which will be generally available soon.

    If you do not want to use a preview service in production, please try CosmosDB Free tier
