How do I enable “JIT Debugging” for Microsoft .NET Framework In Windows 7?

How do I enable “JIT Debugging” for Microsoft .NET Framework in Windows 7? A “dialog box” warning window with the red X icon pops up repeatedly/seemingly randomly , lists a long series of what looks to me like command line or etc programming, or events,  (I’m not a programmer, obviously), and then says:

Quote:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application.....The system cannot find the file specified...To enable Just In Time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. The application must also be compiled with debugging enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging=”true”/>

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer rather than be handled by this dialog box."

End quote

As mentioned, I don't have programming skills/language, but I've been successful in past following a tech's exact and detailed directions, going into registry (or whatever/wherever in the bowels of the OS), finding a specified destination, modifying/retyping a specific file/command/etc, and managing to fix the problem without my computer melting.

Anyone?  With skillz?  Help, please?

    Hi BobG6705,

    ·         What is the complete error message?

    Enabling JIT Debugging requires programming knowledge and the application causing the error needs debugging enabled. If we get the full text of the message and when you receive we can assist in troubleshooting.

    You may also post your question in the MSDN forum for better assistance.
