issue: required to resolve hostname only without azure domain name
computer name:Appifs

how can i avoid this FQDN i need only my servername to be resolved as "Appifs"
if i deploy third party application it instead of reading hostname it reads from NIC this full name which creates issue in configuration

i had before same servers on oracle cloud but there it reads only hostname. not the domain name of oracle even network card contains that
