Hi,

Has anyone seen this? An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk1\DR1 during a paging operation.

Drive 1 is the Temporary Storage (D) disk, used for paging. VM has been rebooted, but the error is coming back (2 or 3 times a day).

Best regards,
Robin

Typically Event ID 51s in Azure are from hitting disk / VM limits. If the errors are occasional and users do not notice the effects, than these errors can be ignored.

If they are causing an error, your best bet is to try and size up the VM and see if that helps. Resizing the disk will not help in this situation because the temp drive is only bound by the VM level limits.
