Is it safe to say that IPAM does not need to manage all Domain Controllers in the domain? I am in the process of deploying IPAM and I would like to avoid touching every DC in the domain.
"Ensure that the IPAM server has network connectivity to at least one Active Directory domain controller, and all IP infrastructure servers that it will monitor and manage."

    Hi,

Thanks for posting in Q&A platform.

IPAM needs to be configured to manage all domain controllers – reason for this is that any domain controller in your environment can process logon for particular user and if you only monitor one DC (if you have for example 2 DCs) you will not be able to tie a particular user name to a particular IP address.

    Best Regards,
    Sunny
