Deployment Monitoring - Software Center - CM Console sucessful ... Client not having the software ???

Question

Hello,

I checked the CM Console
The deployment is successful

Then I checked the client ... it is still the old client which is running 7.0.5

I checked Software Center it says 7.3.9 is installed !!!

Also I checked Add/remove program it is still the old client which is listed !!!

Why is it still the old client running when all Configuration Manager items (Console, Software Center) says the new one is installed?
Where to look?

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

Please help check the AppDiscovery.log, AppIntentEval.log , CAS.log and AppEnforce.log to see if there is any useful information.

AppDiscovery.log will check if application has already installed or not-> AppIntentEval.log will check for dependencies -> Content Access Service CAS.log and ContentTransferManager.log with LocationServices.log will download the application -> Finally installation will be tracked under AppEnforce.log.

It is about Detection Method. If you are upgrading the version, you should specify file path + file version in Detection Method. I believe now it only detect file and does nothing.

I clicked OK on several of them and everything is installing ...

How to process them automatically ...?

I ran several times:
"Machine Policy Retrieval and Evaluation Cycle"
"Application Deployment Evaluation Cycle"
"Hardware Inventory Cycle"
