Error Number: 0xC800042D while installing updates & computer is running slow.

Original Title: Error Number: 0xC800042D.

Computer runs slow, plus when trying to go to windows update I get Error Number: 0xC800042D.  What seems to be the Problem?

·        Did you make any software or hardware changes on your machine prior to this issue?

·        Which operating system is installed on your machine?

For Windows Update issue, you may follow this link & check if it helps.

You may encounter temporary connection-related errors when you use Windows Update or Microsoft Update to install updates

For slow performance of the computer,you may run the performance troubleshooter which checks issues that might slow down your computer's performance.

Open the Performance troubleshooter
