Ribbon Components of Visio 2016 - Standard

Issue
A student indicates that she does not have the Ribbon option: Data.
She works with Visio 2016, standard
(That would affect the creation of External Links.)

Questions

• What are the Ribbon components of Visio 2016 - Standard?
• Is it true that Visio 2016 - Standard does not have the option to link with External data?
• Can you work with External links in Visio 2016 - Standard? If so how ??

• Adjusting the Ribbon is possible but the functions with which you can retrieve external data are not available!

I installed Visio Standard 2016 and Visio Professional 2019 on my computer to check, I find that as PaulHerber-6778 said, there is no Data option on the Visio Standard ribbon and it is available in Visio Professional.

Visio Standard 2016:

And there is no Data in File>Options>Customize Ribbon.
For question 1, you can see Ribbon components of Visio Standard 2016 as below screenshot.

Visio Professional 2019:

And you can find Data in File>Options>Customize Ribbon.

Correct, there is no Data option on the Visio Standard ribbon, it is only available in Visio Professional.
There is no data linking available in Visio Standard.
