I accidentallly changed my settings to RAW, so each pic is 20MB and is saving as a .cr2.  How do I convert to .jpg so I can open the pics on my computer?

If you do not have an app installed that can open and

resave .cr2 files......the freeware IrfanView may be worth

a try:

(FWIW...it's always a good idea to create a System

Restore point before installing software or updates)

IrfanView and IrfanView Plug-ins

http://www.download.hr/download-irfanview.html

(scroll down slightly for the download links)

(get the plug-ins too)

Once IrfanView and the plug-ins are downloaded and

installed...open it and go to...

(FWIW...this task is easier to do than it is to explain)

File / Batch Conversion-Rename

On the Batch conversion screen...Tick...Batch Conversion...

At...Output format...choose...'JPG - JPG/JPEG Format'...

At...Output directory...choose the folder you wish to save

the JPG files in...(If you want the converted files in the

current folder...just left click the "Use current ['look in']

directory")

In the "Look In" field...browse to the folder your .CR2

files are saved in...When the CR2 files appear in the

upper field...left click the 'Add All' button...

When the CR2 photos appear in the lower field...left

click the...Start Batch button...

When the conversion is complete...left click the 'Exit

Batch' button.

Close IrfanView and you're done...
