Microsoft Java Virtual Machine incompatibility
I recently upgraded to Windows 7. I tried to install Microsoft Java Virtual Machine to play on a Scrabble site I used for many years when I had Windows XP, and now I am unable to install it. I get a message from Microsoft saying there is an incompatibility problem. Is there any solution to this problem? There are over 5,000 people on this Scrabble site, so I know other people are able to use it. Thanks.

2011-03-25T19:45:43+00:00 Microsoft deprecated the java vm when XP SP1 came out in 2003 after reaching an agreement with Sun Microsystem. If you are running Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate you can take advantage of XP Mode. XP Mode is a fully licensed copy of XP Pro SP3 that runs in a virtual machine that is highly integrated with your desktop. If you are running Home Premium then you can upgrade to Pro with Anytime Upgrade.
