Fatal error message install a VSM Reader/Writer Embroidery Machine USB Driver Type A version 8.2

Tried to install a VSM Reader/Writer Embroidery Machine USB Driver Type A version 8.2 and keep getting "Fatal error" message.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    · Do you receive any error code with error message?

    · Which is he service pack installed?

    Follow the below steps and check if it helps:

    a.     Click on start

    b.     Click on run

    c.     In open box type in %temp%

    d.     Delete all the files and folders listed in temporary location

    e.     Try installing the program

    Tried to install a VSM Reader/Writer Embroidery Machine USB Driver Type A version 8.2 and keep getting "Fatal error" message.  Any suggestions would be appreciated. 

    No error code was noted.  Just "Fatal Error".  Have been trying to install on Windows XP 32 bit.  Have no problem with installing communication when I reinstalled 3D Embroidery.  Am able to use the 4D Embroidery program and download to a USB drive.  Just doesn't want to install the Driver on 4D for direct communication. 

    Have completely deleted 4D Embroidery program and completely reinstalled with updates in order.  Still no luck.
