how do I convert a wmv from media player to a jpg file so I can enhanse the photo.

can I make the photo brighter from the media player photo.

a wmv file is a video comprised of dozens, hundreds even thousands of pics like a movie.

and a jpg file is a single pic.

if you want to use a particular pic from a video, then you will need to edit the video and select which particular frame / pic you want to splice from it and convert / export it into a jpg.

WMV is a video file...JPG is a photo file...

If you want to brighten the .WMV video file...import it into

Movie Maker / drag it to the timeline and add the Brightness

Increase effect to the file...you can add up to 6 instances

of an effect.

Then save the edited file as follows:

To save as a .wmv movie file...

Type...Ctrl+P (or go to...File / Save Movie File)

     to open the Save Movie Wizard /

Choose...My Computer /

Next /

Enter a Name and a Save Location /

Next /

Tick...'Best Quality For My Computer'

Next/

Wait while the movie is saved /

Finish...
