Computer still corrupted after format?

My computer has kept getting bluescreens because of a game issue corrupting my graphics drivers.  I formatted my hard drive, and its still corrupt!  What else can I do to completely start fresh and get rid of this corruption?  The graphics card currently installed (PNY GTX 470) is brand new, and I had the same corruption problem with my previous card (9800 GX2).

If you formatted the drive there is no data that would remain on the computer to be corrupted.

How did you restore the operating system to the computer and did you install all the correct drivers for all the hardware in the computer (motherboard, chipset, audio, network and most importantly in your case the graphics driver for your NEW graphics card?)  If you used the factory restore partition on your computer to return the computer to an as shipped state then you have the wrong graphics card installed

All that said, some programs, especially some games do weird things to graphics settings.  Is the game totally compatible with your operating system and graphics card.  Read the game's specifications to be sure.
