I have been getting the following error message when I open the program - "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library, Runtime Error, Program: ... ogram Files (X86) Word Perfect Office 12\Programs\QPW.exe, Abnormal program termination." I went on line and installed a progam recommednded FIXCleaner, but it has not cured the problem. Any help or suggestions

    Hi,

    1. Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?

    2. What is the name of the Fix Cleaner which you’ve tried?

These errors can be mostly caused by two factors:

    •         Runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries are missing.

    •         Software problem.

Follow the suggestions and see if it works fine.

Method 1You may check if the issue persists in a clean boot state.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Note :  After troubleshooting follow Step 7: Reset the computer to start as usual

Method 2You may try installing the latest Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable package and check for the issue.
