I accidentally dropped my laptop while the Wireless Mobile mouse receiver unit was plugged into the USB port. The receiver was totally destroyed. Now I want to source a replacement part. The mouse was a gift last Xmas and I do not want to replace it as has quite an unusual design. Where can I acquire the new part?

What a joke that is, I called the number above, was transferred around for about 30 minutes, finally got an oriental person who spoke so quietly I could not understand her.  She transferred me to another oriental person who spoke so quietly I could not understand her so I asked for a supervisor.  45 minutes later "Nelson B" says he cannot process my request.

I hate when companies get so big they think their clients should be honored by their name.  All I needed is a damn receiver, I guess I'll be buying another mouse and it sure won't be a Microsoft brand.

    Hi,

Sorry you had that hassle. They should have told you the receivers are keyed to

the mice so you cannot replace either, you have to have a complete new set.

I agree with you totally!  Microsoft is of no help!
