Hi,
As OEM HP is responsible for the proper operation of the printer and their supplied drivers. Check with
HP Support, their on-line documentation and drivers, and ask in their forums. If the drivers don't help
then you will need their support and ideas from their forums.
Does sound like a hardware issue.
Good chance you need to update or re-install the latest available driver.
HP Support & Drivers <- search Driver for your model and then put in Windows version
