1809 to 20h2 patches /kb required? SCCM broken.

Hi.  My SCCM server is hosed and I need to upgrade a load of win10 enterprise workstations to 20h2.

I've spent over 5 hours trying to to ascertain which patches are required to bring them up to date but every one I've tried says that this update is not applicable to this computer.

Can somebody from ms or otherwise please advise which patches are required to do this?

I've been through the ms catalog several times and it is as clear as mud.

Please help, I have to complete this task on Monday.  I'm already in enough mither that my SCCM server is goosed.

The workstations have no Internet connectivity as this is a secure environment so using Windows update directly from the workstation is not an option.  I need patch or kb numbers to push to the workstations.

Thank you kind people in advance!

Rob.

To bring them current try installing the latest SSU
    https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4598480

followed by the latest cumulative update.

OK - Patches applied succesfully but the first workstation is only showing that it's at:

    Version: 1809 still...
    OS Build 17763.1697

It was previously Build 17763.1039 so we've made some progress
I need to get to 20H4

Can anybody please advise what patches are required next to get to 20H2 or better still explain the methodology and link to the MS site where I can actually figure this out for myself ?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Kind regards.

    Rob.

That was to bring 1809 current. To install latest version of windows 10 you can download the ISO here.
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

    mount it and run setup.exe

    Hi,

Thank you for coming Microsoft Q&A.

The feature update from Windows 10 1809 to Windows 10 20H2 is not available to download. In fact if you are using Windows 10 2004, we could download Windows 10 20H2 enablement package manually to upgrade device from Windows 10 2004 to Windows 10 20H2.
For details, please refer to: Feature Update through Windows 10, version 20H2 Enablement Package

However, as you said, you are using Windows 10 1809, so the manually upgrade to Windows 10 20H2 is deploy through a Windows 10 20H2 ISO image. It would not clean up your device data and system configuration. You could test it on a special device before deploy with SCCM. Also roll back to previous version is available in 10 days(default value) after upgrade.

For those device who have network connection, could get Windows 10 version 20H2 update package which with .cab format, but it is not available to download it manually through Windows Update Catalog or volume licensing service center. So it is only used for update agent.

But according to my know, other engineer who handle ticket might have internal link for downloading Windows feature update. For confirming, we need to contact with update engineer by create a ticket for your issue.

    Bests,
