Keep getting error message: "0x80040707 DLL Function Call Crashed: Kernel32.LoadLibraryW", when downloading Fix-it Utilitys pro.

Original title: How do i fix: error: 0x80040707 Kernel 32.LoadLibraryW

I have tried to download a disk, Fix-it Utilitys pro. I keep getting error#:  0x80040707 DLL Function Call Crashed: Kernel32.LoadLibraryW. I contacted the software company, they say the problem is not in theyre program, its in my system. I ran Microsoft Mr. fix it, Still i cannot download this program. All of my other computers have this installed. How do i fix this error?

    Hello,

    I had exactly the same error as jomarle55 but with Fix-it Utilities Pro 14.

    I resolved it by desinstalling "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Redistributable" & "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable".

    Fix-it downloads them and installs them so be sure to be connected during installation.

    1. Which Microsoft Fixit did you try to run?
    2. What do you mean when you say “download a disk”? Did you try to download the setup files for Fixit utility?
    3. If so, where did you download the file from?

    If you are receiving the error message when trying to install the software, you may try the following steps and check if it helps:

    You may try performing a clean boot and check if it helps:

    **Note:**Make sure you put the computer back to Normal Startup once you are done with the troubleshooting.
