Hello,

I'm a SCOM admin with our company and we are upgrading to SCOM 2019. I'm currently working in our SCOM 2019 Dev environment.

Our DBAs are wanting the option to add their SQL 2017 and SQL 2019 DBs to their distributed applications, but they don't see the option in the Distributed Applications Designer? (see image)

Are they not seeing the option because the latest SQL MP is not installed or am I missing some configuration somewhere?

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciate.

You're indeed missing the latest "version agnostic MP", but note that it's not a straightforward update, you'll have to follow a migration phase : https://kevinholman.com/2019/06/12/how-to-transition-to-the-sql-version-agnostic-mp/
