Sharing of Minecraft game from adult account to child account

Question

Hello -

• I purchased Minecraft Starter pack through my adult, personal MS account for my child to play on - she has spent 1000's of hours building on my account
• I have recently bought my child her own laptop and set her up with her own personal (child) MS account - linked to my adult MS account

Question?

How do i transfer or share the Minecraft game to her account for her to continue? After all, there is a parent - child relationship established between the two accounts?

Hi,
Unfortunately you cannot transfer items between accounts.
This is not possible if you buy it once in one account so it is assigned to it and you cannot transfer the game to another account.

May be buying a separate account for each player in your family. That way, everyone has their own identity.
