I have WINDOWS XP. Is there a way to convert GIF files to JPEG?  Thank you.

Almost any image editor can do it, including Microsoft Paint, which
comes with Windows. Just open the GIF file, then do a Save as, and
choose JPG as the file type.  There are also many third-party programs
that can convert one graphics type to another, including GIF to JPG.
Do a web search.
